Ready, Willing & Able

Ready, Willing & Working is modeled after the hugely successful Ready, Willing & Able (RWA) program in New York City.

Ready, Willing & Able is a program of The Doe Fund (TDF)—a major provider of housing and supportive services for the homeless in New York City. Twenty years ago, TDF founder and president, Geaorge McDonald, developed an innovative program to house homeless and formerly incarcerated individuals and provide them with work opportunities and supportive services.

Currently 62% of those who enter the RWA program in NYC graduate, and 67% of those who graduate are still sober, employed and independently housed a year after graduation.

Ready, Willing & Able has helped tens of thousands of men and women become drug-free, secure full-time employment, and obtain their own self-supported housing.
